Rede

A Pregnancy Support Circle

Monday evenings, for 4-weeks

Beginning April 13th

Lacombe, AB

Holm Collective-3884.jpg

A softer way to prepare for birth and beyond

Pregnancy is full of information — and often, very little space to slow down and feel supported.

Rede: meaning nest

was created to offer expectant parents a warm, grounded place to land during the second and third trimesters. This is NOT a traditional prenatal class. Instead, Rede is a small, intentional group experience that blends holistic education, nervous system support, and meaningful conversation — for both moms and their partners.

Here, preparation happens gently.

Questions are welcomed.

You don’t have to hold it all on your own.

Rede is designed for:

  • Expectant moms in their 2nd or 3rd trimeter

  • Partners or support people who want to feel informed, involved, and confident

  • Those craving community, not overwhelm

  • Families who value a holistic, collaborative approach to care

No prior experience or specific birth plan is required — just a willingness to show up as you are.

What we'll explore together

Each session weaves education with reflection, body awareness, and shared experience. Core themes include:

Nutrition & Weight Changes

supportive guidance of how to nourish your body through the changes

Postpartum Planning

rest, support systems, and realistic expectations for the 4th trimester

Movement & Body Awareness

tuning into what your body needs now and how to set you and your baby up for greater success

Stress Management & Emotional Wellbeing

for both parents, through all stages of pregnancy, birth and postpartum

Labour & Birth Preparation

for when things don't go as planned- we go over what flexibility, decision-making and pivoting look like

Partner & Support Roles

having the important conversations ahead of time and bringing awareness to the needs of each partner

Self-Monitoring & Empowerment

building trust in yourself and your instincts

The 4-week Journey

What to expect through the four weeks we'll have together.

Week 1 — Støtte
(Support)

Introduction, connection, and setting intentions

We begin by slowing down, meeting one another, and naming what support truly looks like in this season. Expectations, questions, and hopes are gently brought to the surface.

Week 2 — Krop & Ro
(Body & Calm)

Body awareness, movement, and emotional wellbeing

This session focuses on nervous system support, embodied care, and learning to listen to the body as pregnancy progresses.

Week 3 — Bære
(To Carry / To Bear)

Birth preparation, partner roles, feeding & infant prep, and pivoting

We explore labour and birth preparation alongside the realities of flexibility, shared load, and informed decision-making.

Week 4 — Lune
(Warmth / Shelter)

Transition, postpartum planning, and building your nest

The final session turns toward the early postpartum period — rest, community, and how to feel emotionally and practically held after birth.
